StoredIQ Named “Cool Vendor” by Gartner

gartner-cool-vendor-2012We are excited to announce that StoredIQ has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the 2012 Risk Management, Privacy and Compliance report by Gartner, Inc. Big data — which presents both tremendous value and tremendous risk — is the next battleground for innovative, forward-looking vendors. Corporations included in this year’s Gartner “Cool Vendor” report provide solutions to consumers and public entities that need tools to make sense of the vast amounts of information in their organizations, analyze the risk from different perspectives, and facilitate its sharing without exposing it to abuse.

The report cites StoredIQ’s innovative, proactive approach to indexing and classifying data as a key differentiator in eDiscovery and Information Governance.  Since StoredIQ indexes and classifies data well before a discovery action, companies retain only the information that is required for either legal or business reasons. Because of this, organizations are better prepared for potential eDiscovery, pay less for storage and archiving — and gain better information governance and more effective information management for business decision support.

Taming Big Data means breaking from the traditional model of continuously moving data to new storage repositories reactively. We believe our inclusion in Gartner’s Cool Vendor report is confirmation that StoredIQ’s ‘active information management’ solutions provide the kind of unique benefits that resonate in today’s market – from real-time data intelligence to proactive eDiscovery and policy-based governance.

StoredIQ named one of the “Hottest Companies in Austin”

Lead411-awardaustinStoredIQ was recently named one of the “Hottest Companies in Austin” by Lead411, which recognizes the fastest growing companies in Austin. More than 500 companies were examined in the Austin area across several different industries, with winners being determined by successful launches, corporate growth and investors strategic support.

We are pleased to be one of the first technology companies from Austin to receive this award. The recognition demonstrates the success StoredIQ is continuing to gain throughout 2011. With the growing rate of unstructured data accumulating exponentially in corporations, IT infrastructures are becoming increasingly more complex. The large amount of electronically stored information (ESI) increases corporations’ legal and IT departments risk and creates challenges in a number of areas including litigation and compliance.

StoredIQ has been at the forefront of these challenges by designing our Information Intelligence Platform to provide legal and IT teams with ways to automate and manage its ESI while addressing pending litigation, audit or compliance issues. Our eDiscovery, Records Management, and Governance and Compliance solutions were created to alleviate the burden of ESI while reducing cost and risk for specific applications.

Our recent eDiscovery risk assessment service for SharePoint, which was launched in March, is an example of how we’re always striving to improve our customers’ information management strategy. We understand SharePoint’s growth in enterprises with more users and databases than ever. In today’s litigious environment our eDiscovery risk assessment service delivers our customers a cost-effective and efficient way to manage and minimize their SharePoint risk by analyzing the data where it natively resides, which eliminates the need to move data to another environment for eDiscovery matters.

We are also continuing to grow as a company and are currently looking to add to our talented employee roster. Suitable candidates in marketing, administration, sales and engineering are welcome to inquire about open positions. Please visit our careers page for more information.

StoredIQ Named to KMWorld’s 2011 List of 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management

100-company-2011Editors of KMWorld Magazine have named StoredIQ one of the 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management for 2011. This is the second year in a row that StoredIQ has been named to this prestigious list, which distinguishes organizations in knowledge management that demonstrate commitment to customer-driven innovation and exceptional market agility. The list was compiled through a collaborative effort between knowledge management practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers and colleagues.

“StoredIQ’s inclusion on the list is based on the innovative technology of its information intelligence platform. Additionally, StoredIQ continues to provide their customers a cost-effective solution that helps them understand their complex information infrastructure and derive true business value from that data.”

We are honored to again receive this recognition by KMWorld, which is a true testament to our continued momentum in delivering innovative and market-driven solutions. Our customers rely on StoredIQ to gain intelligence from their information to meet their compliance, governance and eDiscovery requirements, while reducing cost and risk in the process.

The KMWorld Award is a capstone to a very successful year for us. StoredIQ made several significant announcements in the past year, including closing $10 million in new investment financing in October. We also announced product enhancements, including version 6.0 of our Information Intelligence Platform, which empowers corporate counsel with a legal-friendly, best-of-breed eDiscovery application to address the wide range of legal discovery requirements, including search, identification, collection, early case assessment and analysis, as well as legal hold and review.  Additionally, earlier this year, we announced extended support for Microsoft SharePoint, enabling the most accessible, robust, and complete support for SharePoint on the market today.
