Bruce Ezell
Managing Director, Techxas Ventures

Bruce Ezell has been a founder, executive and/or investor in over 30 entrepreneurial ventures primarily in the information technology, healthcare and energy industries. He has served as founder and managing partner of Techxas Ventures since 1998. His prior experience includes executive and management positions at Gulf Oil Corporation, Ernst & Young and Dell, Inc., where he successfully launched and managed DellWare - now the $8 billion software and peripherals division of Dell (Nasdaq: DELL). Bruce co-founded his first start-up, Underwater Technology Corporation, at the age of 25.

As one of Techxas Ventures' portfolio companies, Bruce joined the StoredIQ board of directors in 2008; he also serves on the board of the Austin Clean Energy Incubator. He is a member of the NVCA and Aspen Institute, and prior served on boards such as Trinity Episcopal School (founder), Texas Venture Capital Association (founder), Texas Governor's Science and Biotechnology Council, and University of Texas Leadership Council.
