Identification and Classification
RecordsIQ discovers and identifies all unstructured data within an organization. Using agent-less connector technology to all data sources, StoredIQ can index the content of a file or just its metadata. Network servers, email servers, content management systems, storage systems and PCs are automatically scanned according to highly customizable criteria.
Using an intuitive web interface users can create automatic classifications of files according to their existing file plan. This rules-based file taxonomy can support anything from the broad classifications often seen in ‘Big Bucket’ records management to the surgical precision of corporations that require thousands of classifications. Classifications can be built utilizing any combination of key words, over 250 out-of-the-box attributes, regular expressions and natural language entities.
Digital File Plan – Taking Action
With RecordsIQ, records managers now have a single interface for managing the complexity of their file plan across the entire enterprise. Once files have been appropriately identified and classified the RecordsIQ File Plan Manager enables the creation and tracking of a corporation’s digital file plan.
