StoredIQ Appliance – Product Basics
Course Overview

This two day course is a combination of instructor led presentation and hands-on learning designed to teach the basics of installation, configuration and appliance functions for the StoredIQ family of products. During this course the participant will learn to:

  • Install and configure the StoredIQ family of products
  • Mount primary, secondary and retention volumes
  • Define, schedule and execute full and incremental harvest jobs
  • Define, schedule and execute policy action jobs
  • Schedule standard report production
  • Use Natural Language entities in queries and classifications
  • Create custom entities and classifications
  • Create and execute full-text and tagged queries
  • Use data explorers for multi-dimensional views of indexed objects
  • Verify harvest and policy results with audit trail reporting
Target Audience

This course is intended for IT personnel or consultants who will have full administrative privileges on the StoredIQ appliance and will be responsible for all aspects of harvest and policy management, reporting, system configuration and user administration.

StoredIQ Appliance – Product Query and Classification Fundamentals
Course Overview

This one day course is a combination of instructor led presentation and hands-on learning designed to teach query processes, entity and classification development, action list functionality, and data explorer functionality for the StoredIQ family of products. During this course the participant will learn to:

  • Create and execute full-text and tagged queries
  • Review query results using the HTML Viewer
  • Manage workflow using action lists
  • Convert queries to classifications
  • Use Natural Language entities in queries and classifications
  • Create custom entities and classifications
  • Use data explorers for multi-dimensional views of indexed objects
Target Audience

This course is intended for legal department, regulatory compliance, risk management or other personnel who will have read-only access to the StoredIQ appliance and will be responsible for conducting eDiscovery projects, develop regulatory compliance-based classifications, or conduct risk management activities using the StoredIQ appliance.
