A comprehensive, highly scalable platform-based solution architected for the enterprise

The StoredIQ Intelligent Information Management Platform is architected for massive, petabyte-scale environments.  A single StoredIQ appliance can manage up to 120TB of unstructured data, and through the use of federation, multiple appliances can manage petabytes of ESI within an enterprise.   And, appliance hardware and software can easily be upgraded as the amount of ESI within an organization grows.  The 64-bit StoredIQ appliance is architected with best-of-breed technologies including industry-leading Dell™ PowerEdge™ R610 servers with state-of-the-art Intel® Xeon® E5520 processors, and NetApp® NAS devices for on-board storage.  These state-of-the-art technologies combine to create a unified, easily deployed and managed appliance-based solution.

Leveraging this massively parallel processing architecture, StoredIQ can scan, index, classify and process up to 24TB of data objects per day with a single StoredIQ appliance.  StoredIQ supports incremental data indexing, collecting and production activities which can also be scheduled during off-hours to reduce the load on production systems where data may reside. All components and subsystems within the appliance are configured and tuned for optimal application performance, and all appliances undergo comprehensive system testing before customer delivery.

StoredIQ's IIM Platform provides symmetrically distributed indexing, processing and policy execution, allowing for all computing resources to be maximized in the cluster.  In addition, each server node within a StoredIQ appliance is isolated so that StoredIQ users are not impacted by other activities that the appliance may be executing.

Sophisticated Disaster Recovery technology is also available with the StoredIQ appliance, mitigating any risk of data loss or downtime.

Key Highlights:

  • Cluster technology supports massively parallel distributed indexing, collection, and analysis of files
  • Index multiple terabytes of data quickly without disrupting end users or production environments
  • Manage 120TB of ESI in a single cluster and leverage federation to support petabyte-scale or geographically distributed enterprises
